Dental hygienists
Barb
Barb has dedicated over four decades to the dental field, bringing a wealth of experience and a passion for patient care. Her career began in California in 1981 as a registered dental assistant, and in 1982, she became a certified oral surgeon’s assistant through the University of Southern California. She then spent 10 years working in dental public health, gaining valuable experience in community-focused care. In 1991, she returned to Iowa and, after completing a radiology course at DMACC worked as an lowa-certified dental assistant from 1994-96. Her commitment to dentistry led her to further her education, completing the dental hygiene program at DMACC. Following graduation, she joined our office in 1997 and has been a beloved part of our team ever since. As she prepares for retirement at the end of August 2025 when her current license expires, we celebrate her incredible career and the lasting impact she has made on our patients and team. She will be greatly missed, but we wish her all the best in this exciting new chapter!
Judy
Judy is a dedicated and experienced dental hygienist who has been a valued member of our team for over 20 years. She graduated from the University of Iowa Dental Hygiene program in 1984 and has been passionate about helping patients achieve healthy smiles ever since. As a longtime resident of Ogden, she loves being part of the local community and building lasting relationships with her patients. Outside of the office, she enjoys traveling to new destinations and spending time with her beloved dog (he loves to travel with her!). Her skill, expertise, and commitment to patient care make her an essential part of our dental family!
Anne
Anne grew up in Duluth, Minnesota, but has called Ames home since 2016. She has been a dedicated dental hygienist since 2013 and joined our office in 2019, where she loves helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. Anne and her husband are very active in their church community in Ames, and she values the connections she has built both inside and outside the office. In her free time, she enjoys curling up with a good book, watching any kind of British historical movie or TV show, and spending time with her two beloved dogs, Ginger and Kolbe. Her warmth and excitement for patient care make her a wonderful part of our team!
